My photography is mostly about emotion. I am always fascinated by the emotion that can be captured in a photograph. It never ceases to amaze me. A photo is a tiny piece of life—forever stolen from the place where time goes—which can be cherished for a lifetime. A little piece of the past that can be held in the palm of your hand and which captures the emotion that was felt at that very second the shutter opened. I love to shoot weddings especially because emotion can be found everywhere when two people are getting married. To be able to capture the meaningful moments in peoples’ lives and then to give them the ability to revisit those meaningful moments whenever they choose, makes me feel good about what I do.
On a personal note, I live in Rochester, NY. I love reading, the beauty of nature, chocolate, God’s gift of food and spending time with my husband and sons.
